Video Wall Displays
Imagine creating an impactful video wall, assembling it yourself, then controlling it all over a single PC. You can do that with the SAMSUNG SM400UXn-M and SM460UXn-M displays. Featuring ultra-thin bezels and compatibility with our Interlocking Display (ID) kits, you can assemble virtually seamless video walls yourself in about 30 minutes.
Full HD Ready
Full HD Ready screens have a minimum resolution of 1080p of W-UXGA and HDMI connectivity.
DVB-T
Most TV's will now have a DVB-T TV tuner built in, meaning that depending on coverage in the users area, they can access Free to View Digital TV and Radio channels.
LFD
Large Format Display - LFD monitors are >32" and are built to be used in commercial environments. Much stronger than there consumer "TV" alternatives they are slightly more expensive, but built to be used 24/7 and with a half life of 60,000 + hours. Warranty on LFD panels are normally circa 3 years with "on site" replacement.
HD Ready
Screens regarded as being HD Ready have to have a resolution of no less than 720p or W-XGA and HDMI connectivity.
TFT
TFT stands for "Thin Film transistor". A type of LCD technology.
VGA
VGA is an analogue computer video connection which is used on most projectors and LCD screens. VGA stands for "Video Grahics Adaptor".
DVI
This is a digital computer video connection which enhances picture quality.
HDMI
HDMI is usually found on TV's but increasingly more on TFT/LCD for Full HD quality picture. It is the digital version of the out-moded Scart connector and carries digital audio as well as video.
