Vision adds new Tilt and Twist to its range and debuts latest Techconnect Amp and Control devices at ISE 2010
New additions are being made to the Vision range of professional solutions for audiovisual integrators and installers at ISE 2010, which takes place in Amsterdam 2 - 4 February 2010.
The new Vision Techconnect Tilt motorised desktop connector module and Techconnect Twist USB extender will be shown for the first time at the event. The latest version of Vision’s popular Techconnect Amplifier and the new Techconnect Control device will also make their debuts at the show.
The Techconnect Tilt can be easily fitted into a desk within a boardroom, meeting room or classroom, to provide an easy way to connect AV devices being used on the desktop to fixed-location projectors, displays, screens and audio equipment. Uniquely, the Tilt module has an internal motor so it can be raised and lowered with a touch of a button, providing simple and quick access to in-room connections.
The Techconnect Twist meanwhile, makes it possible to connect USB devices over distances of up to 50 metres using ordinary Cat5 networking cable. It fits into a normal Techconnect faceplate and converts signals at either end to provide extended reach for the increasing number of AV devices that are connected via USB.
Both devices will be publicly demonstrated at ISE 2010 for the first time.
The latest version of the award-wining Vision Techconnect Amplifer will also be making its debut at the show. Enhancements include the addition of an input on the front of the amp and second infra-red receiver at the rear, making it even more versatile and pragmatic for use as part of a fully integrated set-up. AV Magazine recently named the Techconnect Amplifier as it Audio Product of the Year.
The new Techconnect Control is a remote infra-red control unit that can be used to manage several AV devices, including projectors, display screens and amplifiers. The modular design enables buttons to be added to suit specific requirements. For added flexibility, the control unit can be run from an AC power supply as well as on batteries. Where multiple controllers are required, the programming of a single Techconnect Control can be replicated on up to 50 others.
The new additions will make the Vision Techonnect range even more appealing to resellers looking for practical, professional solutions that will solve customer problems, says Stuart Lockhart, Business Manager for Vision. “We’re constantly listening to integrators and installers and modifying Techconnect on the basis of that feedback. All Vision solutions are designed to meet their particular needs and provide them with simple, effective ways to provide great solutions for their customers.”
Lockhart is hoping that many audiovisual professionals will come along to the Vision stand to see and try out the Vision range for themselves. “We already have a great reputation amongst integrators but there will be plenty of resellers at ISE 2010 that have never seen or used any of the Techconnect range products. This will be the perfect opportunity for them to come along and see just how practical and useful Vision solutions are.”
As well as its unique product set, Vision offers resellers support and training on its solutions and has even produced a series of YouTube videos to provide integrators with a visual and audio demonstration of how to install some of its most popular products. Vision will be showing the latest YouTube footage for its Techmount Ultra-Short-Throw (UST) mounting device at ISE 2010. This will provide integrators with more detailed step-by-step instructions and higher quality images to help them understand how best to set up and install the assembly. The Techmount UST has been specially designed to enable practical deployments of short-throw projectors and was recently named Projection or Display Product of the Year by AV Magazine.
