Maverick Presentation Products: SMEs and education drive surge in projector sales

Maverick Presentation Products has seen a surge in sales of projectors on the back of strong summertime demand from the education sector combined with an unprecedented response to its recent efforts to drive demand amongst SMEs.

The company launched a special promotional campaign and distributed a special guide on all leading brand projectors to resellers last month and has seen a tremendous upsurge in business as a result. Jon Sidwick, Director of Maverick says that it's largely down to resellers taking a positive approach.

"There are some great offers available at the moment and we've been highlighting those with our pro-active approach and summertime promotions. Resellers have seen that as an opportunity to create incremental business and when they take that message to customers, they are finding plenty of willing takers - both in the SME sector and in the public sector."

Maverick has pulled together a wide range of products and solutions with strong marketing messages for each channel segment. "We wanted to deliver a range of market-leading opportunities to our resellers so that they can make the most of the business availability through the summer", says Sidwick. "Our vendor partners have responded in a really positive way, constructing a range of offers, promotions and prices which will really help to drive additional sales."

As well as attractive prices, the catalogue also highlights compelling reasons to buy mid- to high-end units that carry a higher value and deliver more to the customer. "Whilst we have a home cinema projector as £109 and a business projector at £176:00 (including a free lamp), we really want to focus on the higher value areas therefore we have put a lot of focus on technologies such as WXGA, networking and short-throw' says Sidwick.
