Toshiba Logo

Toshiba continue to lead innovation with their new X Series Projectors, the DLP® technology TDP XP1 and XP2, and the LCD technology TLP X100, X150, WX200 and X200. The range includes a scale of brightness levels, XGA and WXGA resolutions, with outstanding features and connectivity.

Projectors are used for multiple applications in varied environments which is why Toshiba
have developed a highly flexible range of projectors within the X Series. The most
important thing when presenting to pupils, colleagues or customers is making an
impression with fantastic clarity, vibrant and true to life colours with a professional looking
projector; the new X Series Projectors do exactly that.

Image Quality
Toshiba are proud of the superb colour reproduction achieved by their projectors. The
TDP XP1 and XP2 use DLP technology with BrilliantColor™ technology for fantastic vibrant
and true to life colours with excellent contrast ratios. The X100 uses LCD technology, while
the X150, X200 and WX200 combine LCD technology with Toshiba’s Natural Colour
Enhancer 5 chip to improve already outstanding image quality for situations where
the perfect reproduction of colours is key to the presentation.

Education Projectors
In educational establishments, projectors are typically installed via a ceiling mount and require
the teacher to be able to connect to the projector easily. Strong security features, an
exceptional warranty and excellent image reproduction to engage the pupils are also vital.
The XP1 and X100 meet this criteria and are supported with an education specific warranty,
perfect for installation in classrooms (see below for further warranty details).

Business Projectors
As projectors are being used more and more for on the road presentations, sleeker and lighter
offerings have been developed to provide portable solutions at cost effective prices.
Toshiba’s X Series range weighs between 1.8kgs and 2.2kgs and come with a carry case to make
transporting the projector to an appointment a trouble free affair, making the X Series
projectors the perfect travel companion. When a projector is not installed on a ceiling
mount, simple set up, operation and ease of use, as well as the usual high standard of projected
images, are key to completing an effective presentation. The X Series all have the ‘Easy
Setup’ feature which makes setting up the projector an easy and trouble free task. The
X100 takes this further with the ‘Quick Start’ and ‘Quick Shut Down’ features, so setting up
and closing the presentation takes just a few moments. Additionally, when the environment
the projector is being used in is not ideal, the X100, X150, X200 and WX200 have extensive
horizontal keystone of +/- 45 degrees to allow users the flexibility to still achieve a perfectly
proportioned image.

Connectivity
The X Series have excellent connectivity options, even for the most demanding users. All
products have RGB, S-video, composite-video and audio inputs. Further up the range users can
take advantage of multiple RGB inputs on the X100, X150, X200 and WX200, as well as
HDMI input on the X200 and WX200, to show content from High Definition sources.
Furthermore, the X200 and WX200 have Vista® wireless software to make connection via LAN
or WLAN with Vista notebooks an easy task without the need to install software.

Warranty
A strong warranty is required by both education and business in the unlikely event
that a Toshiba projector should fail. For TDP XP1’s and TLP X100’s sold into education, a
3 year de-/re-install projector warranty and 3 year original lamp warranty gives users peace
of mind and limits the time the teacher is without their valuable resource. Business
users benefit from a 3 year RTB projector warranty and 3 year original lamp warranty on
the TDP XP1 and XP2, or a 3 year RTB on the projector and 90 day lamp warranty on
the other models.
