ScreenExpert website provides fast and easy way to boost profits

Maverick, the specialist audio-visual distribution business of Tech Data, has launched the latest version of its ScreenExpert website featuring a revamped screen selection tool that makes finding and ordering specialist projector screens fast and easy.

It has also announced the appointment of James Hastings as Business Manager for ScreenExpert and it’s plans for a major marketing campaign that will help resellers drive sales of projector screens.

The updated selection tool is tremendously quick and easy to use, says Hastings. “The ScreenExpert site is designed to be ultra-fast and ultra-simple. Everyone that buys a new projector – or already has one installed – is a potential customer for a projector screen and that’s a massive opportunity for resellers. ScreenExpert is there to make it really easy for them to do address that opportunity and boost their sales and profits as a result.”

With just a few mouse clicks, resellers can find the right screen for their customer, check stock availability and order the product, says Hastings. Projector screens can be custom-built to specific sizes and shipped by specialist couriers to ensure that they are not damaged in transit.

“Using ScreenExpert resellers will be able to meet any customer’s requirements and they will be able to do it quickly and efficiently. They have access to real time stock information and screens can be made and shipped to order for custom requirements. It really could not be simpler to use and I would urge every reseller to give it a try and see just how easy it is to find and quote for specialist projector screens using this tool.”

Hastings has taken up his new role after working as Business Manager for Projectors within Maverick and previously spent eight years working in Computer 2000’s PC Systems division. Further investment will be made in building and executing a campaign around ScreenExpert designed to stimulate activity and demand, he says. “We are eager to spread the word about the new select tool amongst resellers and to help them drive awareness and activity with their customers. We’ll be putting a lot of additional focus and resource into ScreenExpert over the next few months.”
